Our Holiday Home
Our holiday home was completely modernized in 2025/26. It is our family’s holiday home and offers plenty of space to feel comfortable and at home. The heart of the house is the spacious kitchen with a large dining table — a place to gather, cook, laugh, and plan the day together.
Directly next to it are three cozy bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom for maximum privacy and comfort.
Around the pool, several seating areas invite you to relax, dine, and unwind — perfect for sunny days and warm evenings.
On the first floor, you’ll find our living room with a stunning view over False Bay and a large TV for relaxing hours.

Side -by -Side Refrigerator
This refrigerator offers generous storage space, state-of-the-art cooling technology, and a water dispenser. On the spacious freezer side, there is also an optional ice dispenser integrated.
American-style stove
This stove will make any home cook’s heart beat faster. Whether it’s quick searing on a gas hob, gentle simmering, or preparing several dishes at the same time, this stove makes it all possible. The large oven is a real dream.

Kitchen
The modern kitchen features an inviting breakfast bar, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack, or simply as a connection to the entrance area. The convenient serving hatch to the sink area ensures short distances and a clear separation between cooking and cleanup.
The washing machine is also located in this area.

Our Location
Our house is located in Somerset West, in the beautiful Heldervue neighborhood – an ideal base for exploring the many highlights of the Cape.
Cape Town Airport is just 25 minutes away, and the V&A Waterfront can be reached in about 40 minutes.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets with stunning views across False Bay. The excellent local infrastructure ensures that everything you need is close at hand while you explore the region's beauty.
Thanks to our central location, our house is also perfect for excursions along the impressive Garden Route.

Prices are based on occupancy of 2 to 4 people.
For the 5th and 6th person, we charge 500 Rand per night.
Children up to 6 years old stay free of charge in a crib.
A 50% deposit is due upon booking. The remaining balance should be received in our account no later than 14 days before arrival.
Our housekeeper comes twice a week to assist you with household chores. For each additional day, we charge a supplement of 250 Rand per day.
Our gardener comes twice a week for free.

How can I be sure that your stay will go smoothly?
My team and I are always personally available to answer any questions you may have.
Our house is not fully accessible.
There are small steps inside that are manageable with a walker, but not with a wheelchair.
The house is situated on a slope, so the driveway is on an incline.
Our pool is not heated by a central heating system, but by a pipe mat system on the roof. This ensures a consistently pleasant water temperature, although we cannot guarantee it.
Potential power outages -
Load shedding are compensated for by our own solar system.
Air conditioning
We have two air conditioners in the house. One in the kitchen area, which heats and cools. And one in the upstairs living room, which heats and cools.
The heating stove is located in the playroom. It gives the house a pleasant warmth in winter.
